9yg-2.24d-empacadoras de forraje-s9000-producto

The 9YG-2.24D S9000 is a heavy-duty 2.24 m trailed round baler built specifically for big Australian and New Zealand farming operations. Designed and manufactured in-house by a national high-tech enterprise with over 20 years of baler experience, we’ve already shipped more than 1,200 units to Australia alone. Fitted with genuine German Rasspe knotters, double 20A heavy chains and a fully adjustable 100° drawbar, it consistently produces 500–1,000 kg bales that hold up perfectly for long-haul road trains and container loading. Factory-direct pricing, machines in stock now, and genuine support right across Australia – talk to us today for current delivered-to-farm prices.

Advantages of Forage Balers 9YG-2.24D S9000

Most blokes running big country out here just want a baler that turns up, works hard all day and doesn’t leave half the windrow behind. That’s exactly what the S9000 does.

Efficient Forage Collection with the 2.24m Wide Pickup

The 2.24 m pickup is genuinely wide – you can feel the difference the moment you drop it into a laid crop of ryegrass or oaten hay in Queensland. Five rows of tines, hydraulic float and a proper set of feed rotors keep it feeding smoothly even when the going gets rough out west. You’ll knock out 40–100 bales an hour without constantly jumping off the tractor.

Heavy-Duty Round Bales with Consistent Knotting and Dense Compression

The bales come out solid – 500 kg on light stuff, easily 800–1000 kg when the grass is standing and dry. German Rasspe knotters tie every time (we hardly ever see a miss), and the heavy 20A chains on both sides of the chamber are what give you that extra squeeze. Stack them three high on a truck or slide them straight into a container – they don’t sag or burst.

Adjustable Drawbar for Superior Round Baler Performance on Slopes

The drawbar is the bit most new owners ring us about first. You can swing it 100° side to side and still tilt the whole machine up to 30° when the tractor’s leaning on a hillside. Makes a huge difference in the New England or down around Gippsland – the pickup stays flat on the ground instead of digging in or lifting off.

Robust Build and Tractor Compatibility for Heavy-Duty Forage Baling

At 4.2 tonne the baler sits solid behind anything from a 75 hp runabout right up to a 140 hp row-crop tractor. Ground clearance is high, tyres are spaced 2.6 m apart, so it tracks through sandy country or stubble without pushing. Hook it up to a late-model John Deere, Case or New Holland and the ISOBUS screen tells you bale density, bale count and if anything needs attention – no extra monitors required.

One-Touch Net Wrapping for Quick and Efficient Round Bale Binding

Wrap is one-touch: the netter fires, cuts and restarts in a couple of seconds. One roll lasts a full day, sometimes two.

9YG-2.24D Round Baler—S9000 Typical Applications

The S9000 was built from the ground up for the sort of country most Australian contractors and big pasture operations actually work in. It shines on anything from thick ryegrass and oaten hay in the Victorian irrigation districts to light, fluffy lucerne in the Riverina and tough summer-dry native grasses out past Dubbo or in WA’s Great Southern.

Where it really pays for itself is on jobs over 500–1000 hectares a season: dairy support blocks chasing three or four cuts a year, beef finishers putting up standing cereal crops, or big sheep places baling stubble and volunteer pasture after harvest. The 2.24 m pickup and heavy chamber mean one machine and one tractor can comfortably knock out 600–900 tight bales a day without rushing, which is why so many contractors from Gippsland to the Darling Downs have swapped their old 1.8 m balers for the S9000. It’s equally happy behind a 100 hp tractor on flat country or a 160 hp unit on the steeper stuff around Armidale and the Adelaide Hills.

How the 9YG-2.24D Round Baler—S9000 Actually Works in the Paddock

It’s pretty straightforward once you’ve seen it run a couple of windrows.

The wide pickup lifts the swath and hands it to a small auger and rotor that feeds the crop evenly into the chamber—no bunching, no bulldozing. As soon as enough hay is inside, the 18 rollers start turning and the belts (driven by those tough double 20A chains) begin building the core. Sensors in the chamber watch how firm the bale is getting and keep tightening things up until you hit the size you’ve set on the monitor—usually around 1300 mm diameter.

When the bale’s full, the tractor operator gets a beep. Hit the button and the netter shoots two or three wraps around in a couple of seconds, the knotters tie off, the back door lifts, and the bale rolls out clean. The whole cycle from “bale complete” to “door closed again” is normally under 15 seconds. Most blokes run it on auto so they barely have to touch anything except steering—drive, watch the monitor, drop bales, repeat. That simple sequence is why crews regularly finish 12–14 hour days with 800-plus bales and still have energy left for a beer at knock-off.

Daily & Seasonal Maintenance for Forage Balers

Owners who look after their S9000 properly are still getting 10–12 seasons with the original knotters and barely touching the chains. It’s not complicated, just a bit of routine that saves thousands in downtime.

Every day or every 150–200 bales

Blow the dust out of the knotters with compressed air (the number one killer is hay dust building up on the twine disc).
Quick squirt of grease on the ten main nipples (pickup cam tracks, chain tensioners, door latches and the two on the drawbar pivot). Takes five minutes.
Walk around and check the twine/net knife is sharp and the twine fingers move freely.

Every 500 bales or weekly

Grease the big roller bearings through the side panels (18 rollers, two shots each).
Check chain tension – the heavy 20A chains have auto-tensioners, but a quick look stops any surprises.
Top up the central auto-lube tank if you’ve got that option fitted (most Aussie machines do).

End of season / 3000–4000 bales

Full grease service (all 40-odd points).
Pull the knotter covers and clean properly – a can of degreaser and an old toothbrush works wonders.
Inspect pickup tines and replace any bent ones (we keep full sets in Melbourne, next-day freight anywhere east coast, 2–3 days to WA).
Change the hydraulic oil and filter if you’ve been running long dusty days.

Storage tip that saves a fortune

If it’s going to sit for a couple of months over summer, drop the pickup right down so the cam followers aren’t loaded, wind the tension off the chamber belts, and park it inside or at least under a tarp. Blokes who do that rarely ever replace a belt.
Do those few jobs and the S9000 just keeps turning up season after season. We still get photos from machines that rolled off the boat in 2018 with over 35,000 bales on the counter and nothing more than new knives and tines. Simple care, big savings.

Why Choose Our Forage Balers

We’ve been building round balers for over 20 years a S9000 is factory-direct, so you’re dealing straight with the people who design, weld and test every machine. No importers, no dealers marking it up twice. Most years that saves buyers 35–50 % against the big European red/green/yellow brands while still running genuine German Rasspe knotters and the same heavy 20A chains the premium brands use.

We keep a full warehouse in Melbourne and another in Perth – knotters, bearings, pickup tines, hydraulic rams. Every baler leaves with a proper 2-year warranty and we stand behind it .

Thinking about a heavier, wider baler that actually cleans up and doesn’t cost the earth?

Preguntas frecuentes

How heavy can a single bale weigh? Can it really reach 1000 catties?

In actual testing, a single bale under dry conditions can easily weigh 500-1000 catties (250-500 kg), with a density of 100-200 kg/m³, mainly depending on the moisture content of the hay and the field yield. Multiple customers in Australia have reported that rye hay and oat hay average over 800 catties.

What horsepower tractor is needed?

A 75-136 hp (55-100 kW) four-wheel drive tractor is recommended. Commonly used tractors in Australia, such as the John Deere 5075E-6140R and Case IH Farmall 110C-Puma 150, can easily drive it, with fuel consumption increasing by only 8-12 L/h under full load.

Will it need modification after arriving in Australia? Are the wheel track, voltage, and hydraulic ports compatible?

Customized to Australian standards from the factory: 2600mm wheelbase, 12V electrical system, international standard hydraulic quick coupling, ready to be directly mounted and put into operation in the fields without any modifications, and eligible for a green agricultural machinery license.

What if it breaks down in Australia? Is the warranty reliable?

The machine comes with a 3-year/3000-hour nationwide warranty. Our partner dealer in Melbourne can provide on-site service. Standard spare parts (chains, springs, bearings) are readily available in our Australian warehouse, with 72-hour delivery; core components such as knotters enjoy global warranty from the original German manufacturer.

Opiniones de clientes

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Mick O’Brien, Contractor, Dalby, Queensland Bought my first S9000 three seasons ago after my old green baler kept missing knots and leaving me half a paddock behind every day. This thing is a weapon — 2.24 m pickup cleans up laid ryegrass like nothing else. I’m doing 850–950 bales a day with just me and the 6140R. The one-touch net is honestly addictive. Best money I’ve spent in years.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Sarah & Tom Reynolds, Dairy Farmers, Gippsland, Victoria We run two S9000s now. Fourth-cut ryegrass gets thick down here and the old 1.8 m balers just couldn’t keep up. These hit 900–1000 kg bales easy and the adjustable drawbar is a lifesaver on our hilly blocks — pickup never lifts off the ground. Support from the Melbourne warehouse has been unreal; turned up with a new set of tines the morning after I rang. Reckon we’ll still be running them when the kids take over.

⭐⭐⭐⭐ Shane Drummond, Big Sheep Station, Hay, NSW Four and a half stars because the first machine arrived with a bent drawbar pin (freight damage) but the Ever-power boys had a new one on the courier the same day, no dramas. Once that was sorted it’s been faultless. 36,000 bales on the clock now and still on the original knotters. Chains haven’t even needed adjusting. Bloody good gear for the money.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Brent McKenzie, Contractor, Keith, South Australia Mate, I was sceptical about a Chinese baler at first, I’ll be honest. But 42,000 bales later and it’s still tying every knot and the bales stack three high on the truck without falling apart. The ISOBUS just talks straight to the Fendt screen — no extra boxes. I run 14-hour days in 40-degree heat and it never misses a beat. Already put a second one on order.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Liam Connolly, Mixed Farm, Toowoomba, Queensland Got the S9000 last year after watching a neighbour smash out 1100 bales in a day with his. Thought he was winding me up till I tried it. The 100° drawbar swing means I can back right up to the windrow on headlands without stuffing around. Netting takes literally two seconds. My old red one is now a very expensive garden ornament. Cheers Ever-power .
